WCTV is an all-volunteer, non-profit community television group from the Township of Washington, NJ. We are funded by franchise fees from cable systems in our area and by generous donations. Our studio, control room and editing facilities are in the Municipal Complex, where we can broadcast live on Altice USA/Optimum Channel 77 (only in Washington Township and Westwood) and to many towns in New Jersey on Verizon Fios' Channel 24. Programs usually air on these channels Mondays and Fridays at 8pm.
WCTV volunteers produce regularly scheduled shows, community events, concerts as well as youth and high school sports. Township Council meetings air live and when there is no programming, the WCTV DIGITAL BULLETIN BOARD informs viewers of local news and events. This service is free of charge to non-profits, schools, community groups and area attractions.
WCTV currently broadcasts weekly in Northern New Jersey on Altice USA/Optimum Channel 76 on Mondays at 7pm. If you miss our broadcasts on cable, you can watch our programs anywhere on the Internet! Our videos are uploaded frequently to our YouTube.com channel WCTVNJ. Program airdates are posted on Twitter and Facebook @WCTVNJ
